To be honest, you got screwed.
The "low end" computers all tend to have one thing in common: lack of AGP or PCIe slots. And that is done on purpose. It encourages you to either buy the higher-ended models, or to buy another computer as quickly as possible.
Even if you got a better video card, you will not get the performance that you would want. This is because of the limitation of the PCI slot. It simply can't handle the amount of data that the video cards can handle.
I would recommend sticking to something older, like a Radeon 9250 or GeForce 4 card. It is true that they make NVidia 6200 and Radeon x550 cards in PCI, but it would be a waste of money. You would still have to turn the graphics way down to prevent lag.
If you have a local computer store (mom & pop - not big box), go in and ask if they have anything used. We sell cards like that used that we sell for around $30.
